The "Aphrodite" motif by artist Lana Frey, rendered in magnificent, radiant colors on an espresso cup in a gift box, is also perfect as a present! Aphrodite – Espresso cup with real gold overlay. To preserve the brilliance of the colors and the gold overlay, hand washing with mild detergent is recommended. Goebel continually inspires contemporary artists with the material porcelain. The creation of the motifs, from the initial design, is done in close collaboration with the artist to preserve their unique style. This intensive collaboration results in objects of artisanal perfection. "My secret is to apply the paint freely to a canvas and then remove what I don't like. The beautiful remains, and a work of art is created." Svetlana Frey is a passionate Czech painter. She has participated in exhibitions in Japan, Poland, France, and the USA. Inspired by myths and legends, she focuses on the human figure in the form of portraiture. Hands make Goebel – we have remained true to this philosophy. With us, individual masterpieces are created. Historical motifs are given a contemporary twist. Select raw materials and meticulous attention to detail in the manufacturing process guarantee our superior quality. Every step of the production process is carried out by skilled professionals and is done entirely by hand. In addition to the quality of our materials, the modelling, casting, and firing techniques, nuanced decorations define the high quality of our products and make each piece a unique work of art.
