The typical basket — the median across every hand-off — is R 980,00. The value totals above leave out 3 outlier baskets — anything over 100× the typical basket — because a fantasy cart shouldn’t be most of the number. Every hand-off still counts, and the tables below show full figures, outliers included.

The small print, in the open too: we count a hand-off server-side when a checkout link is followed from one of our own pages (or a link our shopping agent minted, signed to prove it), the request carries the marks of a real browser navigation, which crawlers, scripts and prefetches lack, and the basket is valued at the price we were showing. Figures refresh about once an hour. Four crawlers that posed as browsers in August 2026 are struck from the earlier rows. Hand-offs before 29 July 2026 were imported from our own page analytics — counted in the browser rather than on our server, so treat that first month as a slight undercount. Basket value is the basket at the moment of hand-off, in rand — not a claim about any maker’s revenue. Makers: this ledger is yours to check us against — if you’d like your numbers explained, ask.
