Furoshiki is a traditional Japanese wrapping cloth that is used for carrying items, wrapping goods or presents. The added advantage is that you can wrap your furoshiki into a versatile bag by using our furoshiki rings or furoshiki patchins (sold separately).
Unlike a Tenugui, the edges of a furoshiki cloth are typically hemmed to prevent fraying. This stitching is not just for show, it’s also because in its regular daily use, the furoshiki may be exposed to rougher settings.
A furoshiki is used for things like carrying loads of books or protecting a tall glass sake bottle on its journey to a picnic in the park. The furoshiki was originally used in onsen culture, hence its name which is formed from the characters furo 風呂, bath, and shiki 敷, meaning spread, so to successfully transport larger items like clothes and washing products, the size of the furoshiki has become a little larger too.

This 70cm water repellent furoshiki was produced on the back of many requests from Musibi's customers. It is highly recommended for all seasons and colorful but modest. The trait of Mr. Suzuki’s design is dyeing different colors with inventive layering layers.

AQUA DROP is a convenient outdoor and rainy day Furoshiki made of “a water repellent fabric". This wrapping repels water with its “water repellent coating" on the surface which will protect important bags and luggage from sudden rain. It can also be used as a simple leisure seat or table cloth. When the water repellent effect weakens, simply apply an iron to the exterior (medium temperature) and the water repellent effect will return.
