The Tomita grater is a grater made from 18-8 stainless steel and does not use a blade, which can injure your fingers.
Even small ingredients such as garlic can be safely grated to the end. The perfect size for table top use, you can grate wasabi, ginger, garlic, fresh chilli or even cheese.
It has a plate like shape with a raised rim, so you can also grate ingredients that tend to release moisture like radishes or daikon.
Easy to clean and dishwasher safe, as well as safe to use for all ages, including children, as the grater cannot cut or harm.
Made for Tomita Co Ltd in Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture by a collaboration between Masatoshi Tomita who is president of Tomita Co. Ltd & Chianki Murata, Managing Director of Hers Design Inc.
