Our Under The Sea Liquid Play Mats bring gentle, mess-free sensory play for all ages. Each mat is sealed and filled with a squishy liquid layer, so little hands can press, swirl and explore an under-the-sea scene without a drop of spillage. Sized just right as a placemat at 21 x 29cm, it also works beautifully as a stand-alone sensory mat for floor-based play. Available in Yellow, Blue, Green or Orange, pick a favourite or collect the set.
Wipes clean in seconds, making it as practical for everyday play as it is engaging for sensory exploration.
What's included:
- 1 x Under The Sea Liquid Play Mat (colour selected at checkout: Yellow, Blue, Green or Orange)
- 1 mat per unit | Measures 21 x 29cm
- Available in Yellow, Blue, Green and Orange
What the OT Says:
Liquid-filled sensory mats like this one offer a lovely, low-effort way to bring tactile and visual play into everyday moments, whether that's at the table during a meal or as a calm activity on the floor. Pressing and swirling the liquid layer gives soothing, low-resistance tactile feedback, while watching the under-the-sea scene shift and move supports visual tracking and sustained attention.
Because it's fully sealed, it's a wonderfully mess-free way to introduce sensory exploration, useful for children who are curious but not yet ready for looser sensory materials, and equally handy as a calming distraction during mealtimes for children who benefit from a little sensory input alongside eating.
