Scientific Name: Dieffenbachia Reflecta
Synonym: Dumb cane
The Dieffenbachia Reflector is an excellent and easy-to-care-for indoor plant that brings a touch of tropical beauty and a sense of the jungle to your interior. Known for its striking, "reflective" deep green foliage with delicate speckling, this plant is a true wonder. It thrives in bright, indirect light, making it a versatile addition to various corners of your home or workspace, effortlessly adding tropical charm to your design.
While the Dieffenbachia Reflector prefers bright light, it can tolerate lower light conditions, though it may grow slower and less bushy. For watering, keep it simple: allow the soil to dry out before giving it a gentle but deep drink. This hardy plant is forgiving of occasional neglect, making it a resilient choice for busy lifestyles or less attentive plant parents.
With its graceful appearance and easy-care nature, the Dieffenbachia Reflector is a fantastic addition to any plant collection. For a striking display, pair this beauty with a simple yet stylish planter on a sideboard or tabletop. As it matures and grows taller, it will become a stunning floor-standing accent, enhancing the elegance of your space.
Please Note: Dieff's are also called 'Dumb Canes'. This is due to the ability of its toxic sap to render a person temporarily speechless. Best to wash hands after touching and keep away from pets and young children.
