Triple-Layer Gauze | Unisex Sizes | Limited Edition 100th Anniversary Model
Daitou Shingu celebrate a century of craftsmanship with their exclusive Dark Indigo Gauze Pajamas, released to mark their 100th anniversary. This limited-edition colour brings a warm, earthy depth not found in their regular collection - rich, distinctive, and beautifully suited to restful evenings.
Crafted from breathable triple-layer gauze, these pajamas are designed for exceptional comfort during cooler seasons while remaining light and airy against the skin. The garment-dyeing process gently washes away the starch used during sewing, resulting in a texture that feels as soft as if it has already been lovingly laundered.
Daitou Shingu intentionally preserve the natural wrinkles formed during the water-washing process to honour the organic character of the fabric. From the first touch, you’ll experience the remarkable softness that defines our signature Kyo Wazarashi Mensya gauze.
Different from the ordinary gauze products, these Daitou Shingu "Kyo Wazarashi Mensya" gauze pyjamas can absorb moisture quickly and are extra breathable for your skin. The gauze efficiently mitigates sweating while asleep, and keeps your skin feeling dry and fresh until you wake. The feel of the gauze will become softer and softer as you wash the pyjamas. No formaldehyde is used in the manufacturing/dying process so these traditionally made Japanese gauze pyjamas are highly recommended for delicate or sensitive skin.
An elevated essential for restful evenings, these Brick Red Gauze Pajamas embody a century of Japanese textile tradition - where craftsmanship, comfort, and quiet luxury meet.

What is "Kyo Wazarashi Mensya"?
Kyo Wazarashi Mensya, a variation of cotton gauze made using a traditional Japanese technique, has been used for many years. The method allows pockets of air between the fiber layers, making the cotton highly absorptive and breathable.
