Buttermilk Powder is a dairy-derived powder used in soaps, bath products, masks, scrubs, and other personal care formulations where a creamier, softer feel is wanted. It is commonly chosen for its moisturising, skin-softening character and reconstitutes in water for easy use in a wide range of DIY applications. Naturally high in lactic acid, it adds a gentle conditioning touch to both rinse-off and leave-on products. It is a raw ingredient rather than a ready-to-use product, so it is best used as part of a recipe or formulation.

♡ Why we love it: It brings an extra layer of richness and comfort to a formula without making things complicated. The creamy feel, versatility, and easy pairing with other powders make it especially useful for bath and body makers who want simple products to feel more indulgent and memorable.

Recipe idea: combine buttermilk powder with honey powder to make a 'milk & honey' bath milk soak
