Made in the heart of the French Alps since 1890, the Opinel pocket knife draws its robustness and simplicity from its mountain roots. Over time, the folding knife has been adopted worldwide, and is now recognised as a design icon.
Carbon steel holds a special place for Opinel, it is the steel that Joseph Opinel used when he first created the folding knife. The carbon steel blade is distinguished by its exceptional knife edge and how easy it is to sharpen.
Available in 10 sizes, the Opinel carbon pocket knife adapts to different hand sizes and needs. An essential companion for DIY, camping, hunting and more.
Virobloc safety ring invented by Marcel Opinel in 1955, locks the blade in place when open and just as safely locks the blade away when folded.
