Scientific name: Homalomena wallisii 'Camouflage'
Synonyms: Shield Plant, Queen of Hearts
Homalomena Camouflage is a showstopping houseplant with fabulously patterned foliage that brings instant tropical vibes to your space.
This beauty shows off large, patterned leaves splashed with soft greens and silvery olive tones - a natural camouflage look that perfectly suits its name. As part of the Aroid family and a close relative of the Philodendron, it’s just as easygoing and forgiving- ideal for plant lovers of all levels.
Homalomena Camouflage is a tropical wonder from Southeast Asia that loves bright, indirect light, warmth, and a touch of humidity. Keep the soil lightly moist, and it’ll reward you with lush growth. You’ll know when it’s thirsty - its leaves will droop slightly to let you know it’s time for a drink! Just be sure to avoid overwatering and keep it away from heaters or draughts.
Besides being an eye-catcher, this plant also helps clean the air, making it a healthy and stylish addition to your home. Its upright growth makes it perfect for side tables, desks, or smaller corners that need a touch of jungle charm. To finish the look, pair with a Ceramic to match your decor, but go simple to be sure to allow the foliage to shine.
Note: Please be aware that this plant may be toxic to animals and children. Keep out of their reach.
