This wooden Geometric Shape Sorter is a beautifully simple, open-ended toy that invites toddlers to explore shape recognition, colour matching, and early mathematical thinking all through hands-on play. Designed for curious little hands, it grows with your child and offers far more developmental depth than meets the eye

What our OT says:
From an occupational therapy perspective, this sorter works across multiple developmental domains simultaneously. Matching shapes to their corresponding rods builds form constancy and visual-spatial reasoning foundational skills for reading and writing readiness.
The grasping, releasing, and stacking of each piece refines fine motor control and hand-eye coordination, while the built-in logic (the number of holes matches the number of sides) introduces early numeracy concepts in a concrete, tactile way. Tactile exploration, feeling the difference between a smooth circle and an angular pentagon adds a rich sensory layer that supports sensory discrimination and focused attention. This toy is equally at home in a therapy room as it is on the playroom floor.
