Apple M4 Performance

The Apple M4 chip combines an eight-core CPU with three performance cores and five efficiency cores. A nine-core GPU, hardware-accelerated ray tracing and 120 GB/s of memory bandwidth support graphics-intensive apps, creative workflows and responsive multitasking.

A 16-core Neural Engine supports machine-learning features and Apple Intelligence capabilities. Apple Intelligence availability and individual features may vary according to language, region and software version.

13-inch Liquid Retina Display

The 13-inch Liquid Retina display provides a 2732 × 2048 resolution at 264 pixels per inch, with up to 600 nits of brightness. Wide P3 colour, True Tone, full lamination and an anti-reflective coating help provide a clear and comfortable view for documents, photographs, video and creative work.

The display supports Apple Pencil Pro and Apple Pencil (USB-C), including Apple Pencil hover. Both Apple Pencil models are optional accessories and are sold separately. The screen measures 12.9 inches diagonally when treated as a rectangle; the actual viewable area is smaller because of the rounded corners.
