.Scientific Name: Nephrolepis exaltata ‘Blue Bells’
Synonyms: Boston Fern ‘Blue Bells’, Sword Fern ‘Blue Bells’
The Blue Bells Boston Fern is an easy-care and resilient member of the Sword fern family, with its lush green fronds that arch gracefully from a compact, full centre for a beautifully soft and feathery appearance.
Nephrolepis ferns are known for their love of bright, indirect light and the Blue Bells is no exception. Keep this leafy fern happy with warmth and good humidity, making it a perfect choice for a bright bathroom or kitchen. Its naturally compact and symmetrical growth habit makes it a lovely choice for smaller spaces, while its gently arching fronds give it plenty of presence.
Showcase this lush fern in a stylish planter on a table, shelf or plant stand, where its full form can make a statement on its own or complement other houseplants. And for those who prefer hanging plants, Blue Bells really comes into its own, with its fronds spilling gracefully over the sides to create a gorgeous green feature. Keep its full and healthy appearance by planting it in a rich organic mix and maintaining even moisture. Don't forget to spritz and use a pebble tray to help keep humidity levels up and prevent dry edges.
Please note: Nephrolepis is non-toxic to pets and humans.
