These baskets, also known as Gourds baskets, are woven by underprivileged women in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. This provides them with a way to support their families, feed themselves, and provide education for their children and grandchildren. Natural fibers, such as Ilala and Indaza, found in the Matebeleland region are used to create these beautiful and decorative Garlic Gourds baskets.
