No formaldehyde is used in the manufacturing/dying process so these traditionally made Japanese gauze pyjamas are highly recommended for delicate or sensitive skin.

Kyo Wazarashi Mensya, a variation of cotton gauze made using a traditional Japanese technique, has been used for many years. The method allows pockets of air between the fiber layers, making the cotton highly absorptive and breathable.
