A compact backup fire-starting tool for camping and preparedness kits. Supplied with a wooden handle, multi-tool scraper and paracord lanyard. Use it with suitable dry tinder, and practise before relying on it outdoors.
A ferro rod creates sparks, not a guaranteed fire. Suitable tinder, preparation and technique matter. Practise in a safe, permitted setting before packing it as your backup.
Only light fires where permitted, follow local fire restrictions and fully extinguish any fire before leaving.
Add it to your camping equipment or preparedness kit as a backup fire-starting option. Check the dimensions above to decide whether it suits your packing needs.
