The Babolat Air Vertuo 2.6 is a versatile Padel racket engineered for intermediate players who value manoeuvrability and comfort above all else. Developed by Babolat, this 2026 model combines a lightweight construction with a forgiving hitting surface, making it an ideal companion for players looking to elevate their all-round game without compromising on ease of play.

Babolat has built a legacy of innovation across racket sports, and the Air Vertuo 2.6 is a testament to their commitment to accessible performance. The teardrop head shape strikes an excellent balance between power and control, offering a generous sweet spot that rewards clean technique while forgiving off-centre strikes. At just 345 grams, this racket is one of the lightest in the range, enabling quick reactions at the net and effortless swing speed from the baseline.

The racket features a Soft Fibre face that delivers a comfortable, forgiving contact feel with every shot. Unlike stiffer carbon surfaces, the fibreglass construction provides natural flex on impact, making power generation easier for players who rely on timing rather than raw strength. The Black EVA core adds elastic responsiveness, ensuring consistent energy return across the full face of the racket.

Babolat has integrated their Vibrabsorb system, powered by SMAC technology, which embeds specialised elastomer materials into the graphite core. This significantly reduces vibration on impact, protecting the arm during long sessions and enhancing overall comfort. The even balance point ensures the racket feels neutral in hand, allowing smooth transitions between defensive and offensive play.

The 3D Spin technology features raised surface patterns that help generate additional rotation on the ball, while the Holes Pattern System optimises hole distribution across the teardrop face for improved power transmission and shot accuracy. A Smart Buttcap allows you to adjust or remove the wrist strap to match your personal preference.

Whether you are progressing from beginner level or seeking a reliable all-court racket, the Babolat Air Vertuo 2.6 delivers a superb combination of comfort, control, and manoeuvrability.
