Victory, accelerated.

The Strix SCAR 18 features Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 processor 290HX+ boasting up to a 65W TDP with 8 Performance-cores and 16 Efficient-cores, paired with NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5090 Laptop GPU with a max TGP of 175W, ensuring flawless AAA gaming experiences while making resource-intensive tasks like programming and rendering effortless and seamless.

The 2025 Strix SCAR 18 offers the very best Windows 11 Pro gaming experience, featuring Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 processor 290HX+ and NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5090 Laptop GPU with NVIDIA Max-Q technologies, including Advanced Optimus. This killer hardware is complemented with 64GB of 5600MHz DDR5 RAM and 2TB of PCIe 4.0 storage, with the memory slots upgradable to 6400MHz DDR5 RAM and SSD slots both offering full support for PCIe Gen 5, ensuring that you always have the edge on your competition.

Ultimate power

Performance requires power, so we’ve cranked the SCAR 18 to the max. In Turbo mode, the max wattage is 55W for the CPU and an incredibly high 175W for the GPU. For those willing to tinker in Manual mode, you have access to an additional 25W for the CPU, for a total system max wattage of 255W. No matter what kind of gamer you are, the raw power on tap with the Strix SCAR 18 will give you a leg up on your opponents.

Next-gen graphics

Great gaming machines need a great GPU, so we equipped the SCAR 18 with up to NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5090 Laptop GPU. Featuring a max TGP of 175W, optimized efficiency enabled by NVIDIA Max-Q technologies like Dynamic Boost and Advanced Optimus, and AI-accelerated features like DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, this GPU can power your gaming to never before seen heights.

Game Changer - GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptops

DLSS 4 massively increases performance and improves image quality for top games using the power of Al.

Game-Winning Responsiveness

NVIDIA Reflex 2 with Frame Warp gives you the ultimate responsiveness, enhancing target acquisition, reaction time, and aim precision.

True-to-Life Graphics

Experience cinematic quality visuals at unprecedented speed with full ray tracing and breakthrough neural rendering technologies.

ROG Intelligent Cooling

We’ve completely revamped the cooling solution of the 2025 Strix SCAR 18 with precise calculations in mind to ensure that you get the best gaming experience with your machine, every time. We relocated all of the exhaust vents to the rear of the hinge, keeping warm air away from your mousing hand. The sides and bottom of the machine act as an air intake, creating a natural, efficient path for airflow. Air also flows through the keyboard deck, keeping your hands cooler during intense gaming sessions. When pairing an end-to-end vapor chamber with a sandwiched heatsink, Tri-Fan Technology, and Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal on both CPU & GPU, the 2025 Strix SCAR 18 achieves a lower noise level in Turbo Mode compared to the previous generation, while still offering the same calculated excellence you expect from a Strix SCAR machine.

ROG Nebula HDR Display

Your laptop’s display is a window into new worlds, which is why we put the absolute best on our ROG Strix SCAR 18. This ROG Nebula HDR display with Mini LED technology features over 2000 dimming zones, 1200 nits of peak brightness, and beautiful colours thanks to 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour space. The 2025 Strix SCAR 18 have also been upgraded with a brand-new dual ACR layer, which reduces reflections and enhances contrast by 4.5X for incredibly vivid colours. When combined with our own Nebula HDR engine, this display ensures every game and movie is done true justice. And with a blazing fast refresh rate of 240Hz and full G-SYNC support, motion will be incredibly smooth, allowing you to see every enemy before they see you.

Pit Stop Like Upgradability

We’ve completely redesigned the 2025 Strix SCAR 18 to make upgrades easier than ever. This tool-less design allows for simple access to both the RAM, SSD, and fans, and we’ve also brought our latest Q-latch system here for those SSD slots. Like an experienced pit crew, you can remove and replace your SSD and RAM in seconds, having the machine back up and running without missing a lap. A specially designed frame covers the rest of the mainboard to protect the other components, but can easily be removed with a few screws for users who want to tinker further.

Press the Attack

The difference between victory and defeat can be separated by a single keystroke, so the Strix SCAR 18 has a professional esports-grade keyboard designed to secure the win. Built to last, the Strix SCAR's keyboard switches are rated to last over 20 million presses, and n-key rollover guarantees your system will never miss command even if you’re pressing multiple keys at once. The Strix SCAR has a full-sized keyboard, with dedicated media controls and dedicated hotkeys that are tuned for volume and Armoury Crate controls by default and can be customised for different functions or macros. And with per-key RGB and full Aura Sync customisation, the Strix SCAR 18 will always have the looks to match your mood.

All Day Endurance

We equipped the Strix SCAR 18 with a large 90Wh battery, which provides plenty of endurance for video playback and web browsing. If you’re traveling without the included power supply, it also supports USB Type-C power delivery up to 100W, allowing you easily top up a charge while on the go.

All the Bandwidth

Connectivity is everything in a high-performance machine, so we’ve spared no expense with the Strix SCAR 18’s feature set. With support for the latest Wi-Fi 7 standard, offering download speeds up to 2.4X times faster than Wi-Fi 6, onboard 2.5G ethernet, and dual Thunderbolt™ 5 ports, this machine puts even many desktop battlestations to shame. We’ve also included a FHD camera with Windows Hello support, allowing you to unlock the machine possible with just a smile. Windows Hello also provides better cybersecurity thanks to facial recognition. Only your face grants access, keeping your data safe and secure.

Incredible I/O

Ports allow you to connect your mouse, headset, or even an external monitor, so we gave the Strix SCAR 18 an incredibly flexible I/O that can adapt to any situation. On the right side you’ll find two USB-A ports, but the left side offers the bulk of the connections, with an audio jack, dual Thunderbolt™ 5 ports (USB Type-C), a single USB-A, HDMI 2.1, a 2.5G ethernet port, and the power port. If you can imagine your ideal battlestation, the Strix SCAR 18 can make it a reality.
