A dramatic and heavy set dark Japanese plate with an irregular, hand-shaped edge and softly pooled centre. A striking setting for mains, seafood, sashimi or contemporary cuisine.

Japanese ceramics embody a quiet harmony between craft, function and beauty. Shaped by centuries of tradition, each piece celebrates the natural character of clay, the subtle variation of glaze and the small imperfections that make handmade objects distinctly individual. Designed not simply to be admired, but to become part of everyday life, Japanese tableware brings a sense of ritual and considered beauty to the table.

Miyake Ceramics carries this philosophy forward through thoughtfully designed tableware made in Japan. Drawing on the rich ceramic heritage of the Mino region, Miyake combines traditional Japanese craftsmanship with a refined, contemporary sensibility. From expressive glazes and tactile surfaces to beautifully balanced forms, each collection is created to complement food while bringing warmth, character and understated elegance to everyday dining.

Made to be used, enjoyed and appreciated over time, Miyake Ceramics offers an authentic expression of Japanese craftsmanship for modern living.

Due to the nature of handmade items and the glazing process, no single item of tableware will be exactly the same.
