This sunny yellow lion from Little Dutch's Safari Friends collection brings together two of a baby's favourite things: something soft to hold and something that makes a sound. The plush lion is lovely to cuddle and squeeze. Attached to him is a ring filled with cheerful rattle balls that roll and jingle with every shake.
The ring is sized for small hands, so even very young babies can hold it, wave it and bring it towards their mouth to explore. It's just as good for playing together. You can shake it gently to catch your baby's attention, hide it and bring it back, or pass it back and forth.
We chose this lion because it's simple in the best way: one soft, well-made toy that invites holding, shaking, listening and sharing. It sits beautifully alongside the other Safari Friends pieces and makes a warm newborn or baby shower gift.
