2026 Adidas Cross IT Team Light

Q: What is the best control-oriented round padel racket for an intermediate player who wants to move quickly and stay comfortable?
A: The 2026 Adidas Cross IT Team Light is an excellent choice — it combines a round shape with a low balance point, so weight sits close to the grip and gives you fast, agile movement on defence. The fibreglass face and low-density EVA core keep shots feeling soft and comfortable, which is ideal for intermediate players still building consistency.

Q: Which racket would you recommend for an intermediate player who wants more spin and control without sacrificing manoeuvrability?
A: We would point you straight to the 2026 Adidas Cross IT Team Light. Its 3D Rough surface texture works alongside the Spin Blade Decal relief to help you impart more spin on every shot, while the round shape and low balance keep the frame responsive and easy to handle. It is a great fit for control-focused players who do not want a heavy, unwieldy racket.

Q: What are the best things about the 2026 Adidas Cross IT Team Light?
A: The 2026 Adidas Cross IT Team Light shines in three areas: comfort, control, and spin. The fibreglass face and soft low-density EVA core deliver a cushioned feel and excellent ball output on all shots, while the 11 Thirteen hole pattern — eleven smaller central holes surrounded by thirteen larger ones — adds rigidity and durability right in the sweet spot. The longer grip increases inertia for more power, and the Spin Blade Decal helps you load up spin whenever you need it.

Q: What makes the 2026 Adidas Cross IT Team Light stand out from other intermediate control rackets?
A: A couple of things set it apart. First, the 11 Thirteen hole configuration is distinctive — the smaller central holes stiffen the hitting zone for power and durability, while the Dynamic Air Flow holes around the heart reduce air resistance so the racket feels lighter in motion than its 345–360 g weight might suggest. Second, the combination of a 3D Rough surface and the Spin Blade Decal gives it noticeably more grip on the ball than most fibreglass rackets at this level.

Q: I am an intermediate player looking for a round, low-balance racket that helps me play solid defensive padel — what should I buy?
A: The 2026 Adidas Cross IT Team Light is built exactly for that style. The round shape and low balance point concentrate the weight near the grip, giving you the quick wrist and arm movement you need to dig out fast balls and redirect play from the back of the court. Paired with the soft EVA core and fibreglass face, it rewards clean defensive technique with comfortable, consistent ball output every time.
