The BeaverCraft Basswood Carving Blocks Set is your gateway into the craft of whittling - whether you're carving under the stars or at your kitchen table. Crafted from soft, low-grain basswood, these blocks are forgiving on tools and ideal for beginners or pros looking for a clean, easy carve. With four slim blocks and one larger piece, this set gives you the variety needed to try different shapes, styles, and projects.
Basswood takes paint, varnish, or oil beautifully, and thanks to its pale, neutral tone, it's the perfect base for colourful finishing. Odourless, safe for kids, and made in Ukraine, this is a thoughtful gift for the hands-on creator in your life, or for yourself.
