The Parker Asahi CookinCut Range is a home-oriented version of their renowned Pro synthetic-rubber cutting boards, featuring built-in antibacterial agents to help inhibit surface bacterial growth. Available in 3 sizes (M, L, LL), this board carries a light beige rubber surface with a subtle “wood-like” appearance—owing to embedded wood powder in the synthetic matrix.
Constructed in Fukaya, Saitama Prefecture in Japan, it brings a softer, knife-friendly surface than traditional hard plastic or wooden boards. The board’s elastic surface allows knife blades to slightly sink in, preserving their sharpness and offering a smooth, satisfying cutting feel. Non-slip and resistant to water absorption, it doesn't slide when used and resists stains, molds, and lingering odors - especially effective with richly colored foods like tomatoes or red meats.
For more than 50 years in Japan, Parker Asahi has continued to deliver synthetic rubber cutting boards to many professional and home chefs. With high durability and stability, this is truly a chopping board to last a lifetime.
Dimensions:
M (380 x 210 x 13mm) / L (400 x 230 x 13mm) / LL (420 x 250 x 13mm)
Material: 100% Synthetic Rubber with Wood Powder
Blade-friendly surface: Elastic synthetic rubber cushions knife impact, preserving edges longer than harder plastic or wooden boards.
Superior grip and stability: Non-slip qualities promote safety during prep work.
Stain and odor resistance: Dark matte finish hides discoloration and resists water absorption.
Long-term durability: Resilient under frequent use; can be resurfaced with bleach or scrapers when needed.
Wash by hand with hot water and a neutral detergent using a scrubber or brush, rinse well, and dry thoroughly to prevent mold or surface darkening.
For stubborn grime or yellowing, you can use bleach (sparingly, do not soak) or a cutting-board scraper to restore the surface.
Avoid dishwashers and heat damage. Do not expose to temperatures above ~90 °C (194 °F) or below ~–30 °C (–22 °F).
If warping occurs due to prolonged high-temperature exposure, gently heat to ~80 °C (176 °F), place on a flat surface, apply weight, and allow cooling to restore shape.
