Features

Your Adaptable Classroom Companion

The Acer Chromebook Spin 512 is designed for students and educators who need a reliable, versatile device that keeps up with the demands of modern learning. Running ChromeOS on an Intel Processor N100 with 8 GB of memory, it delivers smooth everyday performance whether you are browsing, collaborating on Google Workspace, or following along in a virtual lesson. Weighing just 1.45 kg, it is easy to carry between classrooms, and its 360° convertible hinge lets you switch between laptop, tent, and tablet modes to suit whatever the lesson requires.

See More, Do More on a Taller Display

The 12-inch HD+ IPS display with a 3:2 aspect ratio gives you 18% more vertical screen space compared to standard 16:9 panels, so you can read more and scroll less. At 1366 x 912 resolution with wide viewing angles up to 170 degrees and an Antimicrobial Corning Gorilla Glass touch surface, the screen is bright, responsive, and built to survive the classroom. TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light (Hardware Solution) certification adds an extra layer of protection for eyes during extended study sessions.

Rugged Enough for the Real World

Tired of worrying about accidental drops and spills? The Chromebook Spin 512 is built to take it. MIL-STD-810H certification covers mechanical shock, vibration, humidity, extreme temperatures, and sand and dust. Reinforced I/O ports, a honeycomb interior structure, reinforced corner design, and a shock-absorbent bumper protect against drops of up to 122 cm. The spill-resistant keyboard handles up to 330 ml of liquid, while mechanically anchored keys resist accidental removal — and can be quickly replaced with just two screws when needed.

All-Day Power, Fast Wireless

A 48 Wh battery delivers up to 12 hours of use on a single charge, easily covering a full day of lessons without needing to reach for the adapter. When it is time to recharge, the included USB Type-C 45 W Google PD AC adapter gets you back up quickly. Wi-Fi 6E (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax) with 2×2 MU-MIMO technology ensures fast, low-latency connectivity whether you are in a crowded school network or at home, keeping cloud-based learning running smoothly.
