Vegetable Cetyl Alcohol (Thickener & Texture Enhancer) - Essentially Natural

<p>
Essentially Natural Vegetable Cetyl Alcohol is a plant-derived fatty alcohol used to thicken and improve the texture
of cosmetic and household formulations. It adds body, viscosity, and a smooth, silky slip to creams, lotions,
shampoos, conditioners, and body washes, without the heavy, waxy drag that some waxes can create. It is especially
useful for creating richer, more stable emulsions and more luxurious hair and body products. This ingredient is
ECOCERT and COSMOS approved and is halal certified.

<h4>FAQs</h4>
<p>
Q: Is cetyl alcohol the same as ethanol or rubbing alcohol?
<br>
A: No. Cetyl alcohol is a fatty alcohol used for texture and conditioning in cosmetics. It is not the same as ethanol
or isopropyl alcohol and is not used as a disinfectant.
</p>
<p>
Q: Will cetyl alcohol make my creams feel waxy?
<br>
A: Used well, it typically creates a silky, creamy texture and reduces tackiness. Very high levels can feel heavier,
so adjust based on the texture you want.
</p>
<p>
Q: Can I use cetyl alcohol in whipped body butter?
<br>
A: Yes. It can help improve structure and increase the melting point, which is useful for a more stable whipped
texture.
</p>
<p>
Q: Is this ingredient natural?
<br>
A: It is derived from vegetable oils and is ECOCERT and COSMOS approved, making it a popular choice for natural-style
formulations.
