Scientific Name: Ficus elasica "abidjan"
Synonyms: Burgundy Rubber Tree
Few plants have such perfect colouring that one has to stop and simply marvel at perfection. This is the case with the Abidjan variety of the Rubber Tree.
Its immaculate brown-green leaves, smooth in texture, and elegant in shape are balanced with the coral red hues of the new-leaf sheath. And luckily this house plant produces new leaves in abundance.
No guessing why the Rubber Tree is sometimes dubbed the "New Fiddle Leaf Fig". Its care-easy nature makes this stellar house plant accessible to beginners and more seasoned indoor plant folks alike.
Essential indoor plant this.
Pair with a funky planter to make a fantastic tabletop or shelf display piece.
Please note: The Latex in Ficus is toxic and these plants should be kept out of reach from pets and children.
