The Thread Agave is hard not to admire, with its beautifully symmetrical shape and deep green leaves lined with delicate white threads that curl and twist as the plant matures. Its structured form gives it a bold, architectural feel while still bringing plenty of texture and character to a space.

Agave filifera is a full sun lover, prefers minimal watering and practically adores being neglected, making it an ideal low-maintenance plant. It will live happily indoors or out, especially in that hot, sunny spot where nothing else seems to survive.

Style it in a bold planter to highlight its sculptural shape, or pair it with softer trailing plants for contrast. A simple, striking plant that quietly steals attention.

Please note: Agave is best kept out of reach of curious pets and little hands. The sap is known to cause irritation in the mouth if eaten. 

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Follow these tips to keep your Agave happy & healthy.

Water: Water well during warmer months, then allow the soil to dry out almost completely before watering again. In winter, reduce watering even further, as agaves prefer drier conditions and slower growth.
Light: Loves bright light to full sun and will be happiest in a hot, sunny position indoors or outdoors.
Humidity: Average household humidity is perfectly suitable. Dry air will not bother this plant.
Fertilise: Agaves are very low maintenance and generally do not require regular feeding. In Summer you can  feed lightly once every 6 weeks.
