Jellystone Peekaboo Tactile Sensory Bag

Our Peekaboo Tactile Sensory Bag brings a gentle, mess-free twist to sensory play, giving little hands something squishy, squeezable and endlessly interesting to explore. Sealed inside each bag are weighted beads and playful hidden figurines, waiting to be discovered through the clear window as children squeeze, turn and search, like a quiet little game of eye spy. Choose from Unicorn, Fairy Garden or Dinosaur, each with its own cast of characters to find.

Made with a durable silicone exterior and a sturdy viewing window, it's built to withstand curious hands and repeated play, and wipes clean in seconds, so all the sensory benefit comes without any of the mess.

What the OT Says:

Squeeze-and-search sensory toys like this one are a favourite of mine because they offer so much in such a simple, contained package. The resistance of squeezing the silicone gives lovely tactile and proprioceptive feedback, while hunting for each hidden figurine through the window builds visual tracking and sustained attention, skills a child is using without even realising it.

There's a calming, almost meditative quality to this kind of play too. The repetitive squeeze-and-search motion can be genuinely soothing, which makes it a handy tool to have on hand during transitions, waiting rooms, or moments when a child needs to settle. The hidden characters also invite naming and storytelling along the way, gently supporting language development alongside the sensory and motor benefits.

Because it's fully sealed, it offers all of this without any of the mess or supervision worry that loose sensory materials can bring, making it just as useful in a bag on the go as it is at home.

I recommend this as a simple, calming addition to any sensory toolkit, whether that's at home, in the car, or in a therapy setting, it offers real tactile and visual benefit through play that feels like fun rather than "work."
