The Wilson Optix V2 Lite Padel Racket is a beginner-friendly frame built for easy handling, comfort and confidence while you learn the game. Its round shape and generous sweet spot make it forgiving on off-centre shots, while the light 355g construction helps newer players swing freely through practice sessions, friendly matches and club play.

Wilson gives this Lite version a fibreglass face for a softer, more responsive feel at impact. That extra dwell time helps control the ball without demanding advanced technique, making it a smart first racket for players moving from rental gear into their own setup.

Inside the racket, Wilson's Core Foam uses low-density foam to keep the feel stable, soft and comfortable. The low balance keeps the racket quick through the air, helping with reaction volleys, defensive blocks and cleaner preparation on slower balls.

The frame uses Fiberglass Weave construction with carbon reinforcement for stability and durability, while Sharp Hole Technology improves bite on the ball for more confident spin as your strokes develop. The extended 14cm handle also gives useful leverage for two-handed backhands.

Pair the Optix V2 Lite with a quality overgrip and a Wilson racket bag from our collection to keep your setup court-ready. Wipe the surface after play and avoid leaving the racket in extreme heat to protect the foam and face over the long term.

If you are starting Padel and want a light, forgiving Wilson racket with proper comfort and control, the Optix V2 Lite is the right call. Shop it at PadelZone, South Africa's specialist Padel retailer, with fast delivery and practical advice when you need it.
