Babolat SFX Evo AC Shoes Men - Black/Blue

The Babolat SFX Evo is an all-court shoe built with a wider forefoot volume, which makes it a comfortable option in Padel Shoes for men whose feet feel cramped in a narrow court shoe. If you have wider feet, or you simply prefer a roomier fit, this is a sensible place to start.

Babolat lists this model as the SFX Evo All Court, and that brief shows in the build. It is aimed at amateur through advanced players who want comfort and support from their footwear, so nothing here has been stripped back to save a few grams.

The upper pairs synthetic panels with a lightweight breathable mesh, which keeps the shoe flexible and light while still letting air move through it during a long session. There is added protection at the medial toe box, the spot that takes the scuffs when you drag your foot into a low ball, plus support around the ankle and the rear of the foot to hold you steady through quick changes of direction.

Cushioning comes from soft EVA in the midsole, backed by a soft Ortholite insole that Babolat states is 20% thicker than its standard insoles. That added thickness is there to give you more underfoot comfort, without taking anything away from the support built into the rest of the shoe.

The outsole is Michelin premium rubber with a modified herringbone tread, so you get bite when you push off and dependable traction across varied court surfaces. Denser rubber sits in the high-wear areas, which is usually where a court shoe gives up first. This is an all-court outsole rather than a Padel-specific design, so it suits players who move between surfaces.

So if you want a roomy, well-cushioned court shoe with a hard-wearing outsole and enough structure to keep you planted, the Babolat SFX Evo in Black/Blue is a straightforward choice. It is a practical pick for anyone who values comfort and fit over a minimal, snug feel.
