The Fishtail Palm is a tropical beauty with plenty of character. Its unusual leaflets have jagged edges that resemble fish tails, giving this leafy palm a wonderfully distinctive look.

Unlike many other palms, the Fishtail grows in clusters of stems, creating a full, layered display of foliage. It's a lovely choice for adding tropical greenery and height to a bright living room, office or sheltered patio.

This palm enjoys bright, indirect light, warmth and consistently lightly moist soil. Allow the top layer of soil to dry slightly between waterings, and make sure excess water can drain freely. Humidity: Appreciates moderate to high humidity. Keep it away from dry air and direct blasts from heaters or air conditioners.
Fertilising: Feed with a balanced liquid fertiliser during the active growing season, following the product instructions.
